Deadlines:

 

March 2:  Deadline for electronically reporting OSHA Form 300A data for calendar year 2019. Large businesses are required to post the previous year’s OSHA summary of injuries and illnesses (Form 300A). If your organization has 250 or more employees, you’re required to maintain company injury and illness records and submit them to OSHA at the beginning of the year.  Employers submit data electronically by completing an Injury Tracking Application (ITA). OSHA compiles injury information from large organizations to evaluate workplace safety and understand industry hazards to implement new strategies that prevent future injuries.

 

March 2: Applicable large employers, self-funded health plans, and health insurance carriers must send health coverage information statements, known as Forms 1095-B and 1095-C, to employees and covered individuals.Deadline to furnish employees with Form 1095-C. 

 

March 2: Deadline to file Form 8027 if filing on paper.

 

March 16: S Corp and partnership tax returns due.

 

March 31: End of Q1, calendar year.

 

March 31: Deadline to file 1094-C/1095-C schedules for 2019 if filing electronically

 

March 31: Deadline to file Forms 1099, 1096, and 8027 electronically.

 

March 31: Deadline to file EEO-1 reports. The federal Civil Rights statute and EEOC regulations mandate this compliance survey. The data compiles race, ethnicity, gender, and job categories of company staff. Federal agencies use this information to enforce civil rights and analyze employment patterns in different industries.
